Social networking sites like block lists on Facebook make it easy to communicate with friends, acquaintances, and even strangers. While some of this communication is invited and welcome, others may be unwelcome or even harassing. In such cases, blocking a person from your facebook account is a quick and easy way to cut off unwanted communication.
Blocked users are still able to view your profile and see your basic information (such as your name, photo, and birth date). However, they cannot comment on your posts or tag you in photos. Blocked accounts cannot send you messages or invite you to pages, groups, or events. Blocked accounts can also not search for you on facebook.

However, if you blocked someone on your facebook account because they were bothering you, it’s possible that you may want to reverse this decision and unblock them again. The good news is that you can do this on both the Facebook app and facebook web. The only difference between the two is how you get to your block list.
To access your block list on the facebook app, you’ll need to tap the three dots at the bottom of the screen. Then, you’ll need to click “Settings & Privacy.” On the web, click the down-arrow menu in the upper-right corner of your Facebook page and then click Settings & Privacy. From there, click the Edit button under the Block users section. You will need to wait a short period of time before you can block someone again after you’ve unblocked them. This is because facebook does not allow you to re-block a person until 48 hours after you’ve unblocked them.
